Corella Construction Win Queensland’s Master Builders Award

 

Corella Construction are going strong, taking out the “Best Home Renovation/Remodelling Project over $1 million” award at the Master Builders State Housing & Construction Awards for 2016. This is the fourth of Corella Construction’s Master Builders awards for this year, previously receiving the Rising Star Award, Best Residential Swimming Pool, and Best Renovation/Remodelling Project over $1 million (in the Brisbane region category).

This award recognises pioneering building innovation and craftsmanship in revitalising or otherwise renovating an existing property.

Our Bardon project began with an Ashgrovian Queenslander house that due to age and slight weathering, needed a full remodel. Keen to keep the essence of the house alive, we carefully chose modern, high quality fittings and features that would enhance the Queenslander feeling. Beautiful mosaic bathroom tiles and spotted gum flooring set the tone, which we complemented with fine carpentry and a fully exposed shaft residential elevator. The renovated Queenslander is a stunning modern home that retains its historic Queenslander appeal.
